Wisley Gardens - Year 1
Firstly we arrived at school. Then we quickly went to the toilet and Miss Perry handed out our tasty lunches. Shortly after that we walked to the enormous coach and headed off towards Wisely Gardens. We went to Wisely Gardens because we are learning about how plants grow. When we arrived at Wisely we strolled towards the massive bright greenhouse. A friendly man called John explained the rules and the most important rule was to not pick the plants. He took us on a plant hunt and we used a tally chart to count the different coloured plants that we saw. Next we enjoyed looking at the tallest and the oldest trees that exist in the whole world. Then we planted Nigella seeds and washed our hands ready for lunch. Lastly, we split into groups to explore the amazing things in Wisely. My group explored the cacti which is my favourite plant and we then wondered around the rock garden. It was such a fun day!
