The Marsden March - Congratulations!

Congratulations to all those who took part in The Marsden March on Sunday 4 March, despite the very cold weather!

Between them, the people listed below raised over £6,500 for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

Tomas Lorenz 7 Oaks - Walked in memory of his piano teacher, Louise, and in support of his mother’s friend,  Jo, who is currently receiving top quality treatment:

Lewis Cook 9SB - Lewis’ father was successfully treated at The Marsden last year. The Cook family are photographed above, just before they set off on the 14 mile walk:

Mr Beaney, Head of Drama:

Kieran Gall 13M2 took part in the Endurance80 hike, which is an 80 kilometre trek across Buckinghamshire, walking for 24 hours non-stop, the details of which can be seen here:

Kieran also undertook this endurance feat in aid of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity:

On behalf of the whole Glyn community, I would like to thank and congratulate everyone who took part in this event and raised fuds for The Royal Marsden Hospitals to support their research and provide vital equipment in the fight against cancer.
