Kandinsky Class' Excellent Work!
As part of their Summer 1 topic, Wonderful Woodland, Kandinsky Class really enjoyed learning about and making Anemometers. An anemometer is a device used for measuring the speed of wind, and is also a common weather station instrument. The children really enjoyed trying them out!
They have also been really busy studying plants and flowers. They dissected a flower and looked at all of the parts closely, particularly the stem to find out how water is drawn up into it.
