Willow Class wins prestigeous prize!

Willow class had an amazing day planting in People's Park on Friday 15th June. When we arrived the local radio station was playing music and encouraging everyone to dance and play games to win prizes. The children planted their space-themed flower bed, using the brightest flowers they could, to make it as fun as possible. They then placed all their aliens, stars, planets and space ships into the soil. When we had a little down time at lunch we all went to play on the park equipment, which was great fun.

Aliens and astronauts came round on stilts most of the day to show off some dance moves and blow bubbles, which all the children had great fun popping. At the end, the judges came round to judge all the flower beds and decided that William Morris did such a good job that they gave us 3rd place out of 13 schools! All the children went up to receive the trophy and were presented with a certificate.
