This Christmas, the GLF Schools' Foundation partnered with the YouTube sensation Miniminter, his charity M7Education, and the leading sneaker retailer Kick Game to deliver an unforgettable surprise to Year 6 students and Chestnut Park RAP Club members.

In a heartwarming initiative, every student in these groups received a brand-new pair of trainers just before Christmas, ensuring they all had proper footwear this winter. The collaboration highlights the powerful impact of community and generosity during the festive period.

Miniminter, a longtime supporter of GLF schools through M7Education, spearheaded this project as part of a promotional campaign with Kick Game. By leveraging their shared passion for giving back, they’ve helped to inspire and uplift young students, reinforcing the importance of care and compassion.

Captured in a special YouTube video (available here), the students' reactions were priceless as they unwrapped their new trainers. The surprise sparked joy across the school and served as a reminder of the kindness that binds us as a community.

Jak Martin, Head of the GLF Schools' Foundation, expressed his gratitude:
"This initiative embodies the spirit of the GLF Schools' Foundation—to provide opportunities, support, and joy to our students. We are incredibly thankful to Miniminter, M7Education, and Kick Game for their generosity.

Rachel Jacob, Executive Headteacher, and Sarah Rumbol, Head of School, commented "The generosity of Kick Game and Simon Minter aka Miniminter was such a wonderful end to our term.  The children were in awe of the gifts they received and were overwhelmed by the kindness shown to them.  As Headteachers of the school, we would like to share our thanks and for making our children's dreams come true."

This isn’t the first time Miniminter and M7Education have supported GLF Schools. Their commitment to making a difference continues to leave a lasting impression on our students, fostering a sense of belonging and community.
