On Friday 3 July, the GLF Schools community came together for the Boundless Festival Celebration Assembly, hosted by Glyn School and streamed live to schools across the Trust. The event was expertly led by the brilliant Harry Moulding, whose energy, humour and mind-blowing magic tricks kept students and staff engaged throughout the celebration.
The assembly marked the culmination of another incredible year of the Boundless Festival, celebrating the enthusiasm, talent and determination shown by young people across GLF Schools. From sporting competitions and arts showcases to eco challenges, spelling bees and cultural events, students have embraced opportunities to learn new skills, build confidence and create lasting memories together.
While every GLF school joined the celebration virtually, it was particularly special to welcome pupils and staff from several local GLF primary schools to Glyn School in person. Their presence helped create a fantastic atmosphere as the Trust came together to reflect on a year of achievement.
A highlight of the assembly was the recognition of the many winners from this year's Boundless Festival events. Students had the opportunity to celebrate their successes and see the breadth of talent that exists across the Trust. Perhaps the most moving moment of the event was the announcement of each school's Unsung Hero Award. These awards recognise members of staff who consistently go above and beyond for the young people in their school - those who make a difference every day through their commitment, care and dedication, often without seeking recognition. The heartfelt celebrations that followed each announcement demonstrated just how valued these individuals are within their school communities.
Harry Moulding's interactive hosting and spectacular magic performances added an extra layer of excitement throughout the morning, creating memorable ‘wow moments' that students will be talking about long after the event. His ability to engage audiences both in person and online made the celebration feel truly inclusive for all schools taking part.
The Boundless Festival continues to demonstrate the power of collaboration across GLF Schools, providing opportunities for young people to connect, compete, create and celebrate together. Thank you to everyone who took part throughout the year, to the staff who made the events possible, and to Glyn School for hosting such a fitting finale to another outstanding Boundless Festival.
We look forward to seeing what Boundless 2026–27 will bring.
