Boundless Festival Celebration Brings GLF Schools Together

Students and staff from across GLF Schools came together to celebrate another successful year of the Boundless Festival, marking the achievements, experiences and friendships created through a wide range of events and competitions.

Hosted at Glyn School and streamed live across the Trust, the celebration provided an opportunity to reflect on a year filled with sporting, creative and academic success. Pupils celebrated the winners of festival competitions while recognising the enthusiasm and commitment shown by participants throughout the year.

A highlight of the event was the presentation of the Unsung Hero Awards, recognising members of staff who have made an exceptional difference to the lives of young people through their dedication and support.

Hosted by magician and entertainer Harry Moulding, the celebration was a fitting finale to another memorable Boundless Festival, showcasing the power of collaboration across GLF Schools and creating opportunities for young people to connect, compete, create and celebrate together.

Thank you to everyone who took part throughout the year, to the staff who made the events possible, and to Glyn School for hosting such a memorable celebration. We look forward to seeing what the next chapter of the Boundless Festival will bring.

The festival highlighted achievements across a wide range of disciplines, including sport, music, art, eco projects, debating, chess and mathematics. Standout performances included a student-choreographed dance from Aureus School, an original rap by Chestnut Park Primary’s Rap Club, and the debut performance of The Voices of GLF Schools choir.

Throughout the year, pupils collectively dedicated an estimated 10,000 hours to preparing for the festival's events and competitions, demonstrating exceptional commitment, creativity and teamwork.

The Boundless Festival continues to demonstrate the power of collaboration across GLF Schools, providing opportunities for young people to connect, compete, create and celebrate their achievements together through an inspiring programme of activities and events.
